Most people who are asked to describe college would probably think of words like class, professor, homework, fraternity, bills, and room-mates. However, none of these words properly define college. College is education. Education is preparation for life's problems. This is what the founding father's view of college was, and many of our oldest institutions of higher learning were founded with the idea that knowledge was good, but wisdom was the goal of education.
Today, we can continue in this Biblical legacy by staying at home and getting credit for what we know, enabling us to quickly move on to greater levels of education instead of being punished for having paid attention during our highschool years.
