About Me

Until my senior year in highschool, my plan had always been to go to a good Christian College and get a degree in Biology or Law. My parents had raised me as a homeschooler since the early days when our educational rights were still a grey line. Then, at the Wisconsin Home Educator's Convention, I heard a young lady scarcely old enough to have graduated high school giving a workshop about how she had already completed her Bachelor's degree from home in less than two years for a fraction of the cost. I was certain that she was pulling my leg, but went home and began doing my research. To my surprise, I found that everything that she said was entirely true, and more. Now, after having completed my degree, I have found that few people do believe it to be true...a degree does not have to undo all the hard years of work that went into a home-education, but rather can complete it, as a capstone achievement. It has become a perosnal burden of mine to share this message with others, and I have been giving private workshops throughout southern Wisconsin spreading the word. However, I believe the need for this information extends beyond WI, and so I have partnered with College Plus to spread the good news about the fact that homeschooling doesn't need to end at high-school. Homeschooling is for life. Sadly, many conventions forget about the high school seniors or newly graduated who are yet unsure of how to begin the task of earning a bachelors degree that has been mandated by the current business world.

I give two workshops, the first laying the ground work about the program, and the second building confidence for success in your abilities to achieve your degree on your own. However, there is simply too much information to convey in a single evening.

So, the Credit Where It's Due blog started. It is all about
helping you achieve your higher education objectives the best way. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask questions, leave comments, and suggest ideas for blog posts. Every Friday is Q&A day...and Monday's are exam day, where we take the specific CLEPs, DANTES, and TECEP's and discuss them in detail.
